In this episode, we’re talking about advice for athletes and broadcasters and what it takes to make it up the broadcasting booth.
Today’s guest is Emma Tiedemann, Director of Broadcasting for the Portland Sea Dogs. Emma joined the Sea Dogs in March 2020, becoming just the fifth lead broadcaster in Sea Dogs history.
She spent the previous two seasons as the Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations for the Lexington Legends, where she called back-to-back South Atlantic League Championships.
In 2019, she was honored as the South Atlantic League Media Relations Director of the Year. During the off-season in Kentucky, she served as the voice of Morehead State University Women's Basketball on ESPN and radio. Emma continues to call basketball in the off-season for the University of New England and is a fill-in producer for the Maine Celtics (G-League). The Dallas, Texas native graduated from the University of Missouri in 2015 with a degree in Education and minor in History.

In this episode, we’re talking about NFTs and how college and professional athletes are using them to monetize their name, image and likeness.
Our guest is Nick Jacobs, Head of Product at Blockchain Made Easy, LLC. Nick has been building digital products for Fortune 500 companies for the last 6 years. He started his career at TD Bank where he led the building of the bank's first online lending platform for small businesses. He was awarded TD Bank’s Employee of the Year for his leadership in building a digital lending platform for the Paycheck Protection Program to support small businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since leaving TD Bank, Nick and BEASY have focused on providing easier to use platforms and tools for content creators, brands, and artists eager to get involved in the NFT space. Nick led the development of an interoperable blockchain product that allows customers to create custom NFT marketplaces at a fraction of the cost. The product also allows these creators to sell these NFTs through a traditional e-commerce website like Shopify, and monitor all ownership and transactional data related to their NFT sales no matter what marketplace they are sold on.
