In episode 9, we’re talking about athletes and sports broadcasting. For athletes the decision to stop playing their favorite sport whether after high school, college or a professional career can be a difficult decision but many are looking into broadcasting opportunities in radio or television.
Today’s guest on The Athlete Brand Advisor Podcast is Tim Hagerty. Tim is a broadcaster and media relations professional for the Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas. I first learned about Tim through his brother Paul Hagerty, an acupuncturist at the TB12 facility in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Tim and I realized we have a lot in common and share advice for athletes about how they can build their name, image and likeness by getting into sports broadcasting.
